Star Power, a leading provider of temporary power solutions, has successfully achieved the Hire Association Europe (HAE) SafeHire accreditation for 2024.
Launched in 2000 by the HAE, the SafeHire Certification Scheme has been meticulously developed with guidance from safety and quality agencies, including the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
In 2010, SafeHire was endorsed by the British Standards Institute (BSi) as a Private Standard. Achieving this esteemed certification requires proving competence in safety, health, environment, and quality. It also involves meeting client demands for high service standards, demonstrating a well-trained workforce to support customers, and evidencing increased revenue generation.
A comprehensive audit of several Star Power locations was conducted, focusing on all areas of the business covering: equipment, processes and procedures, policies, hygiene, environmental, vehicles, employee safety, and the customer. The audit confirmed that Star Power’s high standards are consistently met and maintained.
Del Patterson, Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Manager at Star Power, said: “Created by the hire industry, for the hire industry, this certification aims to uphold and promote the highest standards within the sector. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to ensuring that the rigorous standards required for this accreditation were achieved and are upheld continuously at Star Power”.
Richard Miller, Group Managing Director, Star Power, added: “We are incredibly proud to have received the SafeHire accreditation once again. This accomplishment is a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication to safety, quality and high customer service standards.”
