What is Stage V?
Stage V (Regulation 2016/1628) is an EU emissions standard applicable for nonroad mobile machinery (NRMM) with spark/ compression ignition engines – which includes generators. It aims to reduce particulate matter (PM) by controlling emissions – e.g. through particulate filters.
